“We specialize in customizing clinics to fit your needs!”

+ Learn To Curl Clinic

  • Is a clinic designed for people who have never been on the ice before to find out what curling is all about, and for those who have curled but have not had any formal instruction.
  • The 3 hour session is ideal for Open Houses, Students, Company, Family, and Friend outings.
  • The 6 week, 12 hour session is for those who wish more detailed instruction and would include Learn to Curl Leagues.
  • We can design any type of Learn to Curl Clinic over whatever number of sessions that you desire.

+ Intermediate/Refresher Clinic

  • This Clinic is for people who have curled for a while and desire more formal instruction regarding the finer points of the delivery. It is often referred to as a Refresher Clinic. The 4 hour session involves both off-ice and on-ice instruction. The 5 hour clinic also includes videotaping everybody’s delivery followed by analysis.

+ Delivery Skills Analysis

  • Starts with a personal discussion of what aspects the client wishes to work on. It is an on-ice session where each individual’s delivery is analyzed and faults corrected.

+ Delivery Video Analysis

  • Is similar to the Skill Analysis Clinic but also utilizes a Video Analysis Suite to analyze the curler’s delivery so that it can be reviewed, corrected, and seen again.

+ Strategy Clinic

  • These are designed based on the participant’s knowledge and what they wish to learn. A Strategy Clinic can be very basic to more advanced.
  • The 2 hour session is designed for individuals or teams and would include beginner to high performance curlers. Tactics and a team plan will also be discussed.
  • The 3 hour session is geared for larger groups and would be for beginner and intermediate curlers. An on-ice session can be included in the 3 hour clinic.

+ Weight Control Clinic

  • Uses a wireless timing system (RockHawk) to develop awareness and consistency of various draw and hit weights. Interval timing systems will also be reviewed using different methods as well as zone classifications. Stopwatch timing will be looked at from a team perspective and this can also be utilized for sweepers and their timing of curling stones.

+ Sweeping

  • The various sweeping techniques will be demonstrated to determine which is the most effective for individuals and teams. Weight judgment drills and communication will also be practiced. A wireless timing system can be used to determine the accuracy and consistency of rock timing.
  • We have acquired a SmartBroom which can be utilized in our Sweeping Clinics. It can measure things such as Push Force, Pull Force, Frequency, and Sweeping Performance Index.

+ Delivery Stick Clinic
